Last night we launched BERNICE BUTTMAN, MODEL CIIZEN into the world! It was an excellent time, full of cupcakes...

and lots and lots of friends! I got to talk for a few minutes about how Bernice came to be, and then I answered some very fun questions from the audience.

I signed about a million books even though my hands were shaking and my brain couldn't remember how to make words.

AND we did a drawing for a hat and tee shirt! Well, we were supposed to do a drawing, but I forgot about it, and so.... MORGAN PERRY, YOU ARE THE LUCKY WINNER!!! I will drop off your prizes at the library where you can pick them up after tomorrow! Thanks again to everyone who came out! It was truly a dream come true!
